Terms of Use

Aliven is a wellness companion that helps you take tiny daily actions and feel more alive. It is not therapy, counseling, medical advice, or a crisis service, and it's no substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you're in crisis, contact your local emergency number or, in the US, call or text 988.

You must be 18 or older to use Aliven and to enter into these terms.

What you write stays yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store it and generate your companions' responses, as described in the Privacypage. Don't use Aliven to submit unlawful content or to try to break, overload, or abuse the service.

You start with a 10-day free trial. No card is required to begin, and nothing is charged during the trial. To keep using Aliven after the trial, you make a one-time payment through Stripe. There are two options:

• One year of access, $49.99. A single charge for a full year. It does not auto-renew. When the year is up, access pauses and you can choose to make another one-time payment to continue.
• Lifetime access, $249. A single charge, once, for access that does not expire.

These are one-time payments. Aliven has no auto-renewing subscription, and nothing is ever charged automatically or on a recurring schedule. If your annual access lapses, your data is not deleted: your companions and everything on your shelf are preserved, and paying again picks up right where you left off. Prices and features may change with notice. Taxes may apply depending on where you live.

Aliven is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above when we do. Continued use means you accept the update.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from Aliven or these terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
